Detailed Product Description

The product is white or off-white crystallized powder.

The drug is a semi-synthesized β-lactamase inhibitor. It has relatively strong antibacterial activity against gonococcus, diplococcus intracellularis and acinetobacter calcoaceticus, very poor effect against other bacteria. However, it has strong inversible inhibitory effect against the lactamase generated by Staphylococcus aureus and most Gram-negative bacteria. The concentration of 2mg/L has very strong inhibitory effect against the Richmond type , , and lactamase, but poor against type I lactamase. When coadministrated with penicillins or cephalosporins together, decrease the MIC of Staphylococcus aureus, Hemophilus influenza, Escherichia coli and Bacteroides fragilis etc which are tolerated with the above two kinds of antibiotics because of enzyme production into a sensitive range.

Coadminstrated with penicillins or cephalosporins together, the drug is indicated for the treatment of sensitive bacteria-causing urinary tract infection, pulmonary infection, bronchial infection, otorhinolaryngologic infection, abdominal cavity infection, pelvic cavity infection, biliary tract infection, septicaemia, skin and soft tissue infection etc.
