The product is white to off-white crystallized powder. 

It is indicated for the treatment of adult serious or life-threating infections caused by sensitive bacteria lower respiratory infectionbronchial pneumonia,lobar pneumonia; complex upper (nephropyelitis) and lower urinary tract infectionsSkin and soft tissue infections (e.g. cellulitis and wound infection); bacteremia/septicaemia; and infections in patients with neutrocytopenia.cefpirome can only be administrated intravenously. Dosage, dosing method and treatment duration are determined according to the serious degree of the infections, sensitivity of the bacteria, physical conditions of the patients and the renal function.
